Historical Photographs of Downtown Madison & Vintage American Flags
As part of the Madison Historical Society’s centennial celebration this week, we encourage you to stroll the shops along the north and south sides of the Boston Post Road to view vintage photographs of the downtown buildings through the decades. See how the main street Madison has changed over time.
Images on view through July 15
Also, don’t miss the display of vintage flags in the Scranton Library’s Hull Building located on Wall Street. This rotating display features flags from the society’s permanent collection of artifacts.
Flags on view through July 31
This centennial project is a collaboration of the Madison Historical Society and the Charlotte L. Evarts Memorial Archives.
