The culmination of the centennial celebration entitled, “100 Years on the Water: Preserving our Past, Protecting our Future,” will be a benefit gala to be held on Thursday, October 19, in the ballroom at the Madison Beach Hotel.
Cocktails at 6 pm. Dinner and dancing 7 pm. Silent auction to follow the dinner. Festive attire is suggested. The musical stylings of Eight to the Bar will offer something for everyone featuring swing, boogie-woogie and Motown classics. The group is known for its outstanding instrumentalists and sophisticated arrangements.
An event of this historical significance happens just once a century. The MHS will honor four individuals for the important roles they’ve played in preserving and protecting the character of Madison. They are Jack and Laurie Heflin, Joe Oslander, and Don Rankin.
This event is SOLD OUT! The Madison Historical Society is grateful for the overwhelming support from the community. We are looking forward to an exciting evening.
